Your Purpose In Life
Hey Everyone!
So yesterday, I had an evening where I kept thinking about the things I've seen in my life. The things I've gone through. The things I've watched my family and friends go through. The things I see complete strangers going through. And it brought me back to the usual question that we all ask at some point in our lives.
But then I started thinking. If my bills were always paid. If I were debt free. If I had perfect kids. If my husband and I were the perfect image of a perfect blended family. If we had the house the was absolutely just right for us. Then I realized that I would still have the same question.
It actually saddened me because I realized that in my little lack, my little problems, my little issues, my "normal" kids.... even if all of that was perfect, I would still feel the same emptiness in that small corner of my heart. Its not a hole that my husband can fix. There is no perfect gift that my kids could give me to fill that hole in that corner of my heart. But it is a place that is empty because there seems to be a gift in me that is not being used. What I mean by that is that there is a love in my heart, that is not being given. This is where I find my purpose.
In my case, I am a very emotional person. I have such a deep sympathy for people. Whether it is someone that I am close to or someone that I happen just happen to see in the street. I want to always be Someone's Solution. I have a deep passion to solve people's problems. Who knew? The one thing that was my problem because I didn't know how to manage it, is the one thing that brings me so much joy if I can learn how to do it properly. For example, there is a homeless man that I happen to see from time to time on my way home from work. He always would talk to me if I have to stop at the red light. He wasn't always homeless. He was hit with hard times. Lost his job, then his wife, then his home. One day, as cars were passing by it was hard to hear him but I could clearly hear that he was just hungry. When I realized what he was saying, I looked at him and noticed he had gotten VERY noticeably thinner. His hair had gone whiter faster than anyone I had ever seen. Immediately I had a desire to rush to my house to grab some leftover lasagna that was not enough for my family, but would be more than enough for him. I could feel my heart expand to a size I had never felt before. I could feel a sense of urgency to hurry and do this because he may leave. I called Reggie as I got closer to the house to see if he was there. I knew I could not go back and feed a strange man by myself. The wisdom God gave me tells me that I cannot leave any room for the enemy to manipulate anything. Not only could I hurt my marriage, but I could also put this homeless man at risk as well. So I needed to be sure that Reggie could go with me not only to feed this man, but to meet another man that had just gone through the struggles of life and experience being the blessing God created us to be.
If you look in your life, you will find your purpose. When we stop looking at our own issues for just one day. And just look at the world, you will be able to find your purpose. Some people's purpose is wrapped in a gift that God gave you. For example, some people find their purpose just being able to inspire someone else. But sometimes they don't have the words. So they sing. Someone else hears them sing and it stirs up their spirit and they are inspired. Some people find their purpose finding solutions to people's problems. So they obtain resources that will help to enable them to be a solution and use God's wisdom to deliver those solutions. Some people have a heart that looks to see people healthy. They may have the gift of healing and they love to see God's people be healed by the power of the Holy Spirit. Some people are amazing at having the right words to give to a person at the right time that can free them from certain feelings.
These are just a few examples of the different ways you may be able to find your purpose. The now that you know this, the only question you should have is, "Do I Have Enough Faith To Become What God Called Me To Be?" I bet you do. You just have to find the way to tap into that Faith. The way that activates exactly the way you need to.
I now know my purpose in life. I also have the Faith to bring it to pass. I Hope You Do Too!!!
I Love You All So Much!!! Be Blessed!!! Be Someone's Solution!!!!

The things I see complete strangers going through. And it brought me back to the usual question that we all ask at some point in our lives.
"God, I know you didn't bring me into the world just to suffer. I know I am to suffer with Christ.
But you also said that I would have joy and peace.
What is the point of this?"
But then I started thinking. If my bills were always paid. If I were debt free. If I had perfect kids. If my husband and I were the perfect image of a perfect blended family. If we had the house the was absolutely just right for us. Then I realized that I would still have the same question.
"God, I know you didn't bring me into the world just to live a great life. At the end of the day, it's great and all, but what was the real point? What did I learn?"
