Hi Everyone!!

Here I go again with the Lord saying things to me and it makes perfect sense to me after the fact. But this time, the word that the Lord gave me was "Paranoid". It's a pet peeve of mine. I can't stand to see or hear or have to listen to paranoid people. If i'm going to be real, I have to say that's one of my "red buttons". I just didn't understand Paranoia. It just never made any sense to me.

But then the Holy Spirit gave me the word "Fear". And I realized that most Paranoia is rooted in a fear of something. Here is the link of the 2 words:

Paranoia, when you break it down (as shown above) is to have an Irregular Mind. When you have a irregular mind, not only are you not focused, but you also cannot make/keep a decision. Usually when this is going on, there is a fear of something linked to it.

Fear, when you break it down (as shown above) is a fear of some form of calamity or danger.  The first thing I thought about when I read that was our military veterans who come home with PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder). This is the level of fear that leads to paranoia and paranoid behavior.

The good thing about Paranoia is (yes there is a good thing there) that the root issue is Fear. Guess what, anyone can be delivered of fear. It is just a stronghold. A chain that can be broken. You can be delivered of fear. I can be delivered of fear. Your family members can be delivered of fear. Your best friends can be delivered of fear. God didn't give it to you. So if He didn't give it, I won't claim it! If we all can get on the same accord about this, we can be a force to be reckoned with! The armies of darkness would never stand a chance!!!

So the next time you hear someone freak out because of running footsteps behind them in a stair well like I did today, pray for them! They just have a fear to be delivered from! For their fear of an unexpected attack can take them over. And the fear of attacks should never be bigger than the safety God provides!  The next time you see someone with an obsessive compulsive cleaning disorder, pray for them. For their fear of germs can take them over. And the fear of germs should never be bigger than the safety and peace God provides! And God gives us the wisdom of how to maintain a healthy clean house without making the cleanliness bigger than our God. The next time you see someone thinking that someone is always watching them, pray for them! They have a hidden fear of something as well!!! Gods protection should be bigger!!!! When you hear of someone paranoid when they think about buying themselves a lunch once in a blue, pray for them. For they have a fear of ending up in lack, which also comes from a measure of unbelief that God is Jehovah Jireh and He will provide for their needs!!!

All these cases are things we have gone through at some point! And i'm sure now, you may be able to understand (speaking to myself as well here) that when you see someone do something in a paranoid state, they need help. That instead of the first reaction that you have at that moment, not be to say "Dog Gone! Why are you so paranoid!!??". Instead you should understand that there is a fear underlying in there. Sometimes its easy to tell what the fear is. But sometimes it's not. Don't feel pressured to ask "What are you afraid of??". Sometimes that can add tension to an already tense situation and give a chance for resistance to creep in. Just know that this is a moment where you can pray. This is a person to add to your prayer list. You may be the one that has the prayer that can deliver them from their fear. And you may be the vessel that God needs to use, to set someone free.

Think about it family!!!

Be Blessed!!! I Love You All!!!!
