Where's Your Faith?

I've had quite a few bible stories stuck in my head lately, but today, I have the story of Daniel in the Lion's den.....

We know the king was tricked into being put into a position where Daniel was sentenced to death by Lion. That had to be messed up. Who wants to die from being torn to shreds by multiple hungry lions??? But this situation had a crazy betrayal and unsuspecting victims. Not only did the king sentence to have his friend killed by his own law that he was tricked into creating and sealing by a group of haters... But Daniel was sentenced to be killed because He Loved and Honored God so much that he wouldn't stop praying. (How many know that when haters can't catch you doing something wrong, they will take what was honorable about you and twist it up to get your caught up.)

How many times did a "friend" of ours manipulate a situation without you knowing and you lost the TRUE friend. I know I've had that happen. And you feel like a pure fool. I can speak on it because I lost a best friend that way. To this day, I have never been able to ever get in contact. Of course, I stopped trying around 2009. The last time I spoke to this friend was in 2004. This person was my best friend since we were in the 4th grade. But one person lied to me about them. And the same person lied to them about me. And that caused my best friend to walk away from me for life.

On the other hand, have you ever caught yourself in a position for being punished for doing what was honorable, even though it was wrong? We don't think about this, but it happens a lot more than we think in our days now. When we protect our family. When we try to help a friend. But we end up on the wrong end of the stick. And our punishment is nothing like we thought it would be for doing what was right.

In life, we sometimes get put in situations we didn't expect because we trusted someone. And in other times, we end up having to take a punishment for doing what is right. In both cases GOD WILL be there for us. Just like He was there for the king when he worried all night about Daniel being in the Lions den. Possibly being ripped to shreds. Even though he was worried and was stressed and angry for the situation, God still kept his mind.

And while Daniel was in the Lion's den for Honoring his God, God was sure to be there shutting the Lions mouth. Daniel still had to sit in there all night for the time appointed him. But God sustained him while he was in there. And he came out of the den without a single scratch. All Daniel had to do was keep believing and keep praying!!! God did not leave Daniel.

So when you find yourself in one of these 2 places, where will your faith be? Will it falter and say "Well, God was with me when all was good, but I'm sure He won't be there for me here."  Or will you just accept your fate as if God cannot reach you at the bottom of your valley???

Don't you ever forget, God is All Powerful. He can see you in the dark, so those Lions in the Den can't harm you. He can see you do what you did and love and forgive you. No matter what the situation is/was, if you just keep seeking Him, HE WILL come through! You will be vindicated for the evil done to you just like Daniel and the King was vindicated for the trap they set for Daniel and by using the King. He Will be the one that pays back the ones that did you wrong, you need not worry about that. God will take care of all the details that you don't know what to do with. So when you are sitting back saying I don't know how i'm gonna do this. Why don't you change your words to "God I don't know HOW YOU are going to do this, OR WHEN for that matter, but no matter what it looks like I'm Gonna Trust You to fix it! I've done all I can to this point, but the rest has to be in You. There is no other way. And since there is no other way, I know it will be perfect because You can't do no wrong."  When it seems harder to handle than you expected it to be, Rejoice. God is in the process of giving you another miraculous testimony!!!!!! FOR WHEN YOU ARE WEAK, THIS IS HE STRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love you all!!! Have a blessed Memorial Day!!!!!

Remember those who made a Sacrifice for Us To Be Where We Are With The Freedoms We Have! Whether they came home walking or otherwise.  I Honor Them Today.
