We All Have Bad Days....

We all do have bad days. This I know very well. It was not long ago that I heard family complaints every single day. If I made it thru the morning without hearing something, it was guaranteed that I was going to hear something in the afternoon.  It takes a toll on your emotions for sure. I understand the situation and the feeling completely.

Even this morning, it seems like things were going wrong left and right for me.  Nothing truly bad. Just lots of annoying things. Attitudes, chores not getting done correctly, another chore not getting done at all. Another wearing mis-matched clothes. Any culmination of things that can make you feel like a pure failure for that day. What really kills me is the fact that all this is going on on the first day of the end of the year testing for the kids. So not only am I starting on a bad foot, so are the kids.

But how many know that I Am Bigger Than My Morning! How many know My Day Is Not Over! I Can't Dishonor My God By Staying In A Funk All Day! Here is where those 2 minutes I spoke of yesterday come in handy!

I am sitting in my vehicle, in silence. I'm in a parking lot so there are cars moving around me, but when I focus on the sky, it's peace there. The birds are there. A light cool breeze is there. Peace is there. My God is there. But He is watching me in a funk. He is not happy with that. He sent me Joy! Did I miss it? No, I let simpleton stuff seem bigger than my Joy. So my joy today is that He allowed me AND my family to wake up! So we can be happy another day together. Yes we all make mistakes and for a parent it makes for a hard day sometimes. But when we stay filled up with God and focus on His promises over our lives, the enemy can't speak to us and keep us in that funk!

Our God is bigger than the chores that didn't get done! Our God is bigger than mis-matched clothes! Our God is bigger than sleepiness! Our God is bigger than disrespectful co-workers! Our God is bigger than financial hardships! Our God is bigger than our funk! So let's get over what has happened this morning and show Our God That WE KNOW WHO HE IS In Our Lives!

Hi Family, So on Friday I told you about a couple of things. My love for Disney movies (don't judge people!) and 7 sins per the world and then the 7 per The Word. So since the Lord brought me to the 7 sins per the world first, we are going to follow His lead. His way is best right? So after thinking about the seven dwarfs and the 7 deadly sins... Snow White and the 7...... sins...

Psalm 51:7 NLT Purify me from my sins, and I will be clean: wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. Hi Family! If you know me, in my inner heart, you know that I'm a Disney fan. I had to take the day off work yesterday and I got caught up with the kids watching Disney movies. Starting, of course, with a new Disney movie because Lareina kept asking to watch it. It was Descendants 2. Now, let me be honest, I saw the first Descendants movie and I LOVED IT. LOL! So although I fought and fought not to watch this one for weeks, I still ended up watching it yesterday. I hadn't realized how much I would connect with the movie. Outside of the songs and the dancing and the good vs. evil plot of course. But the message was a really good message about being your own Authentic You. And how important it is to be your own authentic you ESPECIALLY for and around the people you love.
