In Love With 2 People....
Is that not a crazy revelation? I didn't realize it, until I had an issue and I needed to run in tears to one about a situation that I had with the other.
Everyone, I am In Love with My Husband, Reggie. I am also In Love with My God.
It's crazy. Usually when you have a situation, you run to a sister, a brother, a parent, a trusted friend, someone close to you. I found myself running to the bathroom to find My God and to cry out about a situation. Once I got past my own feelings, I could feel God comforting me, and my tension began to loosen, and my mind slowed down from the racing, and I could breathe again. Then I was calm enough to hear what I needed to do.
Isn't that what our "best friends" and family do for us? They listen to what we have to say, they get us to calm down, reassure us that everything will be OK, give us good sound advice (if they are a best friend for real they will. It's those other ones that come back with the "other" stuff that you should worry about telling your business to or taking advice from) or they give us a good hug and help us find a solution to the problem.
I realized that I love being in Love with these 2 people. My world, as a married woman, seems to run pretty good having just these 2 people in my life. Now, getting all 3 of us to agree is still a challenge sometimes, but we can work on that together. Not saying that I can't use some really great friends and family!! But sometimes, I need to know that when it's something that none of you can help me with, I have someone I can run to that can always help me through and the rest of you can always just be my support by helping to keep me focused on God. You are the cheerleaders in my life when no one else can help me.
But let me tell you this, God wants to have the same relationship with every one of you. He told me. He wants to be the one that you run and cry to when someone hurt your feelings. He wants to be the one you run to when you messed up and you need someone to help you clean up the mess. He wants to be the one you run to when you have a big decision to make (cause face it, our friends and family can be pretty biased on some decisions right). God wants to be you husband, your King, Your Financial Adviser, Your Driver, your Life Consultant. I'd say it's a pretty cool deal. He NEVER loses. So you won't lose. The only time you will lose is when you stop listening and say "I'm just going to do it this way this time", yea that might not work. I've had to learn it. Some of you have already learned that and can testify to it. But when we just trust Him and stay focused on Him, although some challenges may come (cause you have to remember, the devil don't want you to win so he's going to try to throw things at you and distract you!!) if you just stay unmovable and focused on Jesus, you will have the victory in ways you never thought you could have.

Be Blessed, I Love You All!
