He was there for me

Who stood up for me against the wicked? Who took my side against evil workers? If God hadn’t been there for me, I never would have made it. The minute I said, “I’m slipping, I’m falling,” your love, God , took hold and held me fast. When I was upset and beside myself, you calmed me down and cheered me up. 

When you really think about it, man, He was there for me when I was crying "Oh My God!" and I had no idea that He was there listening to me, telling me "Baby i'm right here. I got you."  How many times I said "My God, I don't know what i'm going to do!" and He was right there comforting me. How many times I said "Lord God, help me now cause i'm gonna lose it!" and He would say "Hush baby, it's ok".

How many times did you say those words yourself, and you didn't REALLY realize He was responding to your cry? How many times did you cry out, and suddenly you were ok, and you just didn't know why? He comforted you. When you were about to lose it, He calmed you. When you were hurt, He put His arms around you. When you were looking for help, He was reaching out to you.

Sometimes I just want to say Thank You Father. For really being there for me, when I was even giving up on myself. When I had no where else to turn. When no one could possibly help me, You were there. When no one could get me out of the mess I put myself in, You came to my rescue. You are amazing, and the best Father anyone could ever have.

I hope you all feel the same way.

Hi Family, So on Friday I told you about a couple of things. My love for Disney movies (don't judge people!) and 7 sins per the world and then the 7 per The Word. So since the Lord brought me to the 7 sins per the world first, we are going to follow His lead. His way is best right? So after thinking about the seven dwarfs and the 7 deadly sins... Psalm 51:7 NLT Purify me from my sins, and I will be clean: wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. Hi Family! If you know me, in my inner heart, you know that I'm a Disney fan. I had to take the day off work yesterday and I got caught up with the kids watching Disney movies. Starting, of course, with a new Disney movie because Lareina kept asking to watch it. It was Descendants 2. Now, let me be honest, I saw the first Descendants movie and I LOVED IT. LOL! So although I fought and fought not to watch this one for weeks, I still ended up watching it yesterday. I hadn't realized how much I would connect with the movie. Outside of the songs and the dancing and the good vs. evil plot of course. But the message was a really good message about being your own Authentic You. And how important it is to be your own authentic you ESPECIALLY for and around the people you love. Trapped? or Protected?

Hey Family! I was watching a cartoon on Disney Jr with my baby girl. She loves this cartoon. Elena of Avalor. I can't lie, i'm all in it too. Singing all the songs with Sami and everything. Haa Haa Haa!!! Here is Princess Elena..... She is beautiful.  In her story, her parents are killed during an attack by the evil Queen Shuriki who then trapped Elena's grandparents and little sister in a painting. When she attempted to kill 16 year old Princess Elena, she inadvertently trapped Princess Elena in an amulet from the necklace Elena had on. The thing is that, Elena ended up trapped in that amulet for 41 years!!! It was after that time that Elena was rescued by another worthy princess  named Princess Sophia of Enchancia.  And they teamed up together to defeat the evil queen who took over Avalor after the royal family had "disappeared".
