I Am Great!! Psalm 139:14
Hey Family,
I was talking to a teammate at work yesterday and we were talking about different good feeling "sayings" and suddenly he says this one. It immediately did something. And it also reminded me of a t-shirt my husband designed.
I now feel the need to remind my beautiful sisters and handsome brothers that you are all Unique Rare Diamonds!!! You might not see it. YOU might see dirt, deformities, scars, dents. But there is no denying, that you are still a diamond.
In your life, someone may have cast you aside because you look like a simple dark stone. You may seem rough on the edges. Dented from life and being thrown around. You may even have landed in the mud quite a few times. And while you were there in the cold, thick, wet mud, it rains even more and you sink deeper into the mud. You are then fully engulfed in the dirt. Completely covered. Not a glimmer of the sun to be seen. Then you feel the pressure of the people walking on the mud that is covering you and it feels so heavy.
So many people walking over the diamond that they don't even realize is right below them. They think it's just another rock.
Now I bet some of you feel that way even today. But let me tell you, that you are a diamond. And A Diamond Is Still A Diamond, Even If It's Thrown In The Mud. Even if it's thrown in the mud over and over and over. The VALUE of that diamond does not change. But I promise that the pressure that you felt while you ended up in the mud each time made the diamond shine even brighter when you were finally revealed from that mud.
But how did you get out of the mud? There was nothing you could do to get out. You were buried. Completely covered in the mud. I've been there before. I promise I have no idea how I ended up out of the mud. The only thing I know is that if I couldn't do it, and no one else could do it, then it HAD to be God!! And that is who will come rescue you from the mud. As soon as you are deep enough and realize that you, that wonderful diamond, are so far into the mud that you have no way to roll your way out, and you cannot see a glimmer of sun, then the chance for Him to rescue you appears. But you must invite Him to help you.
You see, My God, is a complete Gentleman. No nonsense and No pressure. Just as wonderful as He can be. And in his greatness, He will never intrude on you if you feel that you can do something on your own. If you feel that you can do it on your own, then He will allow you to tire yourself out in your way. But when you are finally in a place where you finally realize that you can NOT do it on your own, He will be there to help you. IF you invite Him in to help. But He is always watching you. And He is allowing certain things into your life. (Where do you think your testimony will come from?) And He is protecting you from other things in your life. Think about all those times where something COULD HAVE happened, but didn't. Something to think about eh?
So Diamonds, as you go through this life remember that you ARE a diamond. Even if you are thrown in the mud. Sometimes repeatedly. It does not change that you are a very rare, unique and valuable diamond!! And remember that when you end up in that mud. when you get tired of fighting your way out Our God will be there to help you, if you ask Him.
I love you all!! Be Blessed!!!!
