Happy Birthday Cesar!!
Dear Cesar,
At about this time (11:00am) 16 years ago, I was leaving Dr Chaudry's office to be on my way to deliver you, my own natural first born. So much excitement was going through me that day. I remember it like it was yesterday. I could not have been any happier.
16 Years later, I still could not be any happier with the gift God gave me that beautiful Friday in 2001. I could never have imagined the trials and troubles we would go through together. I wish I could erase so many of them because they were so hard on you. The things, people, and experiences that God allowed for you to go through have built you to be able to be so soft hearted and yet so rock solid at the same time.
16 Years later, I could never have imagined that I would end up with an extremely gifted violinist for a son. The talent that God has given you (because I don't care what anyone says, that level of talent in you was not genetics or time in practice, that was God.) has amazed everyone you come in contact with, everyone you have played for, and even those of us who see you day in and day out through the good, the bad and the ugly.
My prayer for you is that you are able to stay humble. Don't let the world gas you up. Continue doing what you love. Continue doing God's work. Continue to chase after God. I pray that God continues to minister to you in ways that only He can. And that you never ever stop following God no matter what comes your way. God will never give up on you. But as you live longer and experience more life, I need you to remember that no matter what comes your way, if you never give up on God, He is always going to be there for you and will always make your crooked paths straight again and again.
You are my boo. I love you to so many levels of life. You changed my life in 2001 and in 2017 you still continue to change my life. I'm proud of you and the young man you have become. Teen life in this world is not easy, I know. But you always have a team in your corner ready to rumble for you or roll with you through everything you need us for.
