Can't Save Everyone.
Hi Family,
I read this scripture this morning. I've read it many times before, and every time, I think first of how much I warn my son about how he helps people. I love his heart. He desperately wants people to be ok. How he wants people to be happy. But one thing I know is I was that same person. I have learned, partially the hard way, that sometimes I'm just not the best person to help you. I can't solve everyone's problems. I want to be able to be supermom, and super woman. But truth be told, there are certain areas that I may not be able to help someone in, because I may not be strong enough.
Can you imagine, someone drowning in a lake. And you are in the crowd of spectators watching in horror. But you can't swim. Are you the one who jumps in anyways, in a thoughtless but fully emotionally invested act? Possibly to lose both your lives? Or are you the one who can quickly strategize and find the most experienced swimmer to have them jump in the lake and rescue the one who is drowning?
Which one are you?
I love you all. Be Blessed.
