Happy Birthday Jesus!!
Hi Family,
For the last 2 days, I've been realizing some things. And today, even as I type this, it's hitting me like a ton of bricks. To the point where I keep wandering around my house just trying to hold back tears. Just not able to quite find a quiet spot to have a moment with the Lord.
You see, so many years ago, There was a conference held in the heavens. A conference meant to decide on a solution to our sins..... My sins..... As I think back to when I first realized the true meaning of Easter about 4 years ago until today, I am able to connect so many dots. I think about lots of moments in the bible that overwhelm me to the point of tears. And Resurrection Day (Easter) was my most impactful...
Today, it hit me that I have a purpose. You have a purpose. My children have a purpose. Your children have a purpose. Why? Because we were born in God's image. But why is that so special? I mean, we'v heard it a million times..... What's special is that Jesus had a purpose. Yea, we know that too. But for some reason, it just became super impactful for me. Jesus was sent from the heavens, into the womb of a lowly, poor, simple virgin. A nobody. He was born in a barn. A dirty barn with animals still in it. But He had a purpose. He was sent with an ultimate purpose of dying for us... For me. Not to die of old age. Not to get sick and not be able to recuperate. Not to suffer and be killed by His enemies. But to intentionally give himself up and knowingly suffer worst death imaginable. Knowingly. Sacrificed Himself for us... For me. He gave His life for me so that I could have a way of escape from doing all that was wrong. He just happened to do some serious miracles along the way until the time declared in the heavenly conference. Yes, those miracles that He performed had purpose too. But the ultimate purpose of His even coming and being born was to die... FOR US. To create a solution for our stubbornness, our anger, our frustrations, our lack, our pride, our lack of love, our constant unrelenting thoughts of I, Me, and My.
So today, as we celebrate the birth of Jesus, I pray that you do give Him thanks for his birth. For it was the first step in His plan that He resolved in the heavens with God and the Holy Spirit in order to save us all and help us see that WE ALSO have purpose in our being born. We were not born to suffer or live in lack or be abused or be forgotten. Those are just feelings and/or events that may be on your mind or need to happen along the way. They have purpose as well just like the things Jesus had to go through before His final purpose was fulfilled. But even after those things, you have a bigger purpose as well. So today as you give God glory for what He has done and provided for our family, give Him thanks for your purpose as well. Even if you are like me and don't know what that "Bigger Purpose" is yet.
I love you all!!!! Be Blessed!!!!! Enjoy Jesus's Birthday with your families today!!!! Ana
